Our Dy GS Com. Chhidu Singh informs from New Delhi:
"The Department of Expenditure has sent a short letter to Department of Telecom on 15th instant directing the DoT to go to Cabinet and take fresh approval for granting benefit of 78.2% IDA to BSNL retirees (those who retired before 1-1-2007 and after that date, both). The said directive has been issued by DoE with the approval of the Honourble Minister for Finance.
It is also mentioned that arrears shall not be paid in DCRG etc. on account of the notional pay fixation granted from 1-1-2007 to 9-6-2013."
