RESTRUCTURING.... AGAIN
DELOITTE, a Global Consulting Service Firm, has submitted a report to save BSNL!
Staff Unions were not consulted by them before peparing the report.
The Officers in BSNL were also not consulted during the study.
Sitting somewhere else in USA or so they conducted the study and submitted report.
As usual, staff reduction is the panacea they suggest to save BSNL.
SSAs should be re-organised Area Wise. Instead of SSA there should be AREA......
Forum of BSNL Staff Unions has given a call to organise protest demonstrations on 12-8-2014.Some report indicates that there is a proposal to introduce Voluntary Retirement Scheme, again. Intention is to give VRS and send out one lakh serving staff.
